Moving To Montana

Lately I have been hearing multiple variations of the same question, “Why do you want to move to Montana?” . I tend to give the same answers, “Well I’ve always been interested in life outside New Jersey,” “I’m looking for a quieter, more peaceful lifestyle,” and of course, “Well I have friends out there who feel like family, so I think it will be fun.” . While ALL of that is true, there is one more reason that I just never seem to be able to express in a quick conversation with someone. . You know when you meet someone new, and you’re instantly infatuated with them? Everything they do or say is absolutely perfect and magical? Then, (if you’re lucky!) a few weeks or months will go by, and you start to notice everything that makes them unique, and before you realize it, you have fallen completely in love with them? . This is how I look at life. . Sometimes I start a new chapter of my life excited and find every aspect of it to be wonderful. Then a few months go by, and I can’t believe how blissfully happy I am, knowing in my heart that I made the right choice to go down that path. Of course, just like love, there is the possibility that it won’t work out; that maybe I made the wrong choice, and instead I end up heartbroken. But as most of us know, that has always been the beauty with falling in love, maybe it will last forever, or maybe it will end in the blink of an eye, but while you’re in it, you’re happier than ever to be experiencing a piece of magic. . So yes, I am moving, and I can add to my list of reasons why, that I am moving because I want the freedom to fall in love with life again. I want to walk down the street of a city I don’t know and feel peace within my soul. I want to stroll into a coffee shop I have never been to, and learn what my favorite thing on the menu is. I want to make new friends, and hug (with all that I am) the ones I am already so lucky to have. I want to learn new parts of myself I never knew existed, before I went somewhere I never have before. . I want to fall in love with life, and I think I’m going to the perfect place to do so.
