Ten letters that can mean so much. We all want to be seen. We all want to be known. We want others to see who we are and appreciate us for the small details that make us unique. .

The other day I was talking to a new friend and I started a sentence with “I typically..” and when I was done, he replied with a smile, “Yea I’ve noticed.” It was the sweetest moment. I wanted to hug him for taking the time to really pay attention, something so difficult nowadays with life flying past us one Instagram scroll at a time. .

After that conversation I realized I wanted to start telling people more often when I’ve noticed something uniquely special about them, because the truth is, we are paying attention, we do see each other, we just forget to say it..and sometimes saying it, is what could light that person up for the entire day.
